Many people like to see different kinds of  landscapes  because they want to see a change from their normal routine or they may have their own personal reasons. People generally like to see landscapes that look beautiful and they have not seen before or don’t see often. People can get to see them through trekking, travelling by a vehicle, or through paintings (of e.g. Nicolas Roerich).

I recently went on the Jagatsukh peak trek. It is located in the Pir Panjal range of mountains in the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh. The peak was at 5,050m. The type of landscapes I saw were mountains and rivers.

My feeling as I looked at the mountains was adventure if I climbed the mountain. I felt curious about what was behind or on top of them. The challenges I faced while trekking taught me that hard work is important for reaching a higher goal.

In my presentation, I will talk about my responses to the landscapes I saw during my trek. I will show images and a map of the route while narrating my experiences.
