In Old Chandapura and Bommasandra, Bangalore, solid waste management is a big problem. Huge amounts of garbage are seen to be deposited in and around bus stands, street corners. This study is to find the effects of the garbage on the people living in these areas. The study covers the concentration points or locations of garbage dumps, the effects it has on people’s health, sanitation , lifestyle and their mindsets regarding the management of solid waste .
