India is a diverse country having different languages, life styles, religion, caste, social class and so on. If not unified, this can lead to a major problem. As we all see in our surroundings, there is a lack of unity amongst ourselves. For example, illiterate people are suffering due to their disadvantage, while often the political leaders are seen to be exploiting them. This could be the result of a lack of unity in our society.

Day to day issues we all face like water scarcity in certain areas, inequality in the distribution of services like education, medical support, and so on, can be solved by coming together and working in unity.

We would like to study about this lack of unity leading to a lot of problems and we would also like to help people and bring unity among the people by spreading awareness and also showing through our study that it is possible to solve problems if everyone works towards it.

We plan to do our research in Heelalige where we recognized several problems related to roads, drinking water, etc, which could be solved by people if they unite.  We intend to do our study through interviews of various people including the elected members in the area to understand the conflicts arising out of people not understanding each other and out of a lack of unity. We also plan to spread awareness about the relevance of unity among the people.
