Infrastructure is the basic lifeline on which any city thrives. Mere presence of infrastructure does not guarantee the services until the geographic accessibility ensures availability of infrastructure at proximity. Hence, infrastructure has to be cross viewed in terms of spatial distribution and spatial accessibility. The research work attempts to demonstrate the application of Geoinformatics in analyzing the distribution of solid waste infrastructure and space-time accessibility of this infrastructure in Gulbarga city, India. The outcome of the research also exhibits the application of Geoinformatics for designing the placing of dust bins to achieve spatial balance of distribution.
