Human interactions and Savandurga: past, present and future

In order to better understand the geographical implications of the human interactions surrounding the world’s second largest monolith, Savandurga, located close to Magadi, a small town near Bangalore, interviews and studies were conducted by the authors into the historical, ecological, and religious relationships between the people and the place, and the impact of these dynamics through the years.
