Bangalore city was formally known as a garden city. Now it is losing its greenery due to urbanization. One such example is Vijayanagar. This has an adverse impact on the local residents.
We interviewed the residents of Vijayanagar who were living there over last 20-30 years. What they see at present is climatic changes and water scarcity.
We tried to convince the people through environmental song, which describes not to cut the trees instead to grow more trees. We counseled people to protest against the act of cutting trees. We made pamphlets and posters to save trees and distributed in neighboring houses. We conducted a rally to bring awareness to save trees and to have for a “GREEN FUTURE”.
In Vijayanagar we should at least save the trees that we have and plant more.
